· Bioassay-guided isolation and structure elucidation of biologically active compounds from medicinal plants and microorganisms in the therapeutic area of cancer and HIV.

· Design and biomimetic synthesis of bioactive molecules and their analogues for evaluation as anti-HIV, anti-malarial, anti-cancer and antimicrobial, antioxidant, and anti-diabetic natural products agents and standardization of traditional Ayurvedic/ herbal formulations.

· Development and validation of analytical methods (HPLC/HPTLC)., Characterization of by GC and GC-MS. Development of monographs, Standardization, and pharmacological screening of Herbal drugs.

Prof. Dr. Omji Porwal: A Visionary in Academic Research

Prof. Dr. Omji Porwal has recently joined Qaiwan International University (QIU) as the Professor & Director of Academic Research, marking his return from Canada. With an illustrious academic background, he holds dual undergraduate degrees—a Bachelor of Chemistry and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from India. He further pursued a Master of Pharmacy (Pharmacognosy) from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Regulatory Affairs (PGDPRA) from Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi. His PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences was completed at JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty, JSS University, Mysore, under TIFAC-CORE Excellence in Herbal Drugs.

With an extensive 19 years of experience spanning research, academia, and administration across prestigious institutions and universities, Dr. Porwal has made significant contributions worldwide. His career includes engagements in Canada, North Africa, Libya, Ethiopia, and the Kurdistan Region, collaborating with distinguished international faculties.
