World Pharmacists’ Day Awareness Campaign

On the occasion of World Pharmacists’ Day, pharmacy students of Qaiwan International University organized a scientific and awareness campaign at Majidi Mall in Sulaymaniyah.

The campaign aimed to highlight the vital role of pharmacists in promoting public health, ensuring safe and effective medication use, and providing patient-centered care. During the event, students offered health education sessions, counseling on rational drug use, medication safety guidance, and general health screening activities for visitors.

This initiative reflected the commitment of pharmacy students to community engagement and public health advocacy, reinforcing the expanding role of pharmacists beyond dispensing toward preventive care and health promotion.
